Pick up, Return & Delivery
Pick up
- Upon your scheduled arrival, you and one of our team member, together, will do a comprehensive walkthrough to set an agreed upon condition baseline of the trailer you will be renting. A thorough review of the entire interior and exterior, including the undercarriage and the roof. All pre-existing damage(s) will be recorded on our Departure Checklist Form. You are more than welcome to point out any damage or wear and tear that you see and it will be recorded on the form. In addition, a full inventory of kitchenware, gears and equipment will be conducted.
- We are located in Gardena, CA. We will send you the exact pick up address in your email confirmation once you have made your booking
- A late fee of $25 will be charged if you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled pick-up time
- Failure to call and arrive more than 45mins late for your scheduled pick up time will result in the cancelation of your booking and forfeiture of your entire booking payment
Return
- Upon your scheduled arrival, you and one of our team member, together, will do a comprehensive walkthrough of the trailer to inspect for any damages, including a full inventory of kitchenware, gears and equipment will be conducted. If any damages or missing gear/equipment noted on the Return Form that were not listed on the Departure Form, the cost of those item(s) will be deducted from your security deposit
- A late fee of $25 will be charged if you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled return time
- Failure to call and arrive more than 45mins late for your scheduled return time, you will be charged of an additional day
Delivery
We provide convenient drop-off and pick-up services within a 50 mile distance from Gardena, CA, for a nominal fee of $100 for the first 15 miles and $5 per mile thereafter for each way. Delivery option can be used for pick up only, return only or both.
Policies
Rental Policy
- Renter must be 25 years or older and have a valid driver’s license
- Must have and show proof of valid automobile insurance that covers rental trailers
- The renter must be present at scheduled pick up time and sign the liability waiver and release
- The renter is responsible for all included items. Any missing items will be charged accordingly with the replacement fee schedule found in the rental agreement and in the FAQs
Payment Schedule
- Full payment is due during booking checkout
- The security deposit can be paid either during booking checkout or 2 days before scheduled pick up time.
- Security Deposit: $1,000
- Flex-Rez: $50 (optional)
- Rescheduling Fee: $0, $65 and $100 (see rescheduling policy below)
- Cleaning Fee: $40
Cancellations
- Flex-Rez Booking Protection allows you to cancel your booking at any time and receive a full refund of all payments made. We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, necessitating a change in your plans. By opting for our unique Flex-Rez booking protection, you can cancel your booking up to 2 hours before your scheduled pick-up time and receive a full refund. This add-on provides peace of mind to your plans, ensuring that whatever life throws your way, you won’t have to worry about losing your booking or money.
- Proof of insurance that covers rental trailers must be provided at least 3 days before the scheduled departure-check-out time. Failure to provide proof of insurance will result in cancellation and forfeiture of 25% of booking fees
- Full refund 30 days >: 100% refund of monies paid for cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the rental start date. For example: If cancelled 30 or more days prior to the rental start date refund is 100%.
- 50% refund 30 days <: 50% refund of monies paid for cancellations made within 29 days – 15 days prior to the rental start date. For example: If cancelled 15 days – 29 days from the rental start date refund is 50%.
- 25% refund 15 days <: 25% refund of monies paid for cancellations made within 14 days – 7 days prior to the rental start date. For example: If cancelled 7 days – 14 days from the rental start date refund is 25%.
- No refund 7 days<: If a cancellation is made within 7 days prior to the rental start date, the booking is non-refundable.
- Full refund is provided for any cancellations made within 24 hours of booking.
- If the renter initiates the cancellation, this cancellation policy applies. Should Crossover Trailers need to cancel the reservation for any reason, the renter will promptly receive a full refund.
Rescheduling
- No fees (30 days or more): No rescheduling fee if changes are made 30 days or more prior to the rental start date.
- $65 Fee (29 to 2 days): A rescheduling fee of $65 applies if changes are made between 29 days and 2 days prior to the rental start date.
- $100 for (2 days or less): A rescheduling fee of $100 applies if changes are made within 2 days of rental start date, including the day of.
Security Deposit
- Security deposit will be refunded within 5 days after the trailer is returned, provided there is no damage or missing kitchenware, cookware, gears or equipment. In the event of damage to the trailer or missing items, the replacement and/or repair costs will be deducted from the security deposit.
- If the security deposit does not cover the required repair or replacement expenses, a claim will be filed with your insurance.
- Missing items will be charged accordingly to the replacement fee scheduled found in the rental agreement and in the FAQs
